Review of Greater (2016) by Frankybones — 02 Nov 2017

This might be one of the most underrated sports movie ever made. A little on the religious side but that was this kid’s story. It may not be Rudy but Brandon Burlsworth surpasses all expectations and then some.

I’ve added this movie to the 10 best sports films I’ve seen. And I’ve seen all the tear jerkers. Don’t base your opinion on this movie because 4 “pro” reviewers gave it a 3.5, if scores matter, check the user reviews.

Again religion might as well been a character. If you are atheist or agnostic like I am, it sort of feels forced. But I can look past that because the story is true and amazing... Life is too short to sit through boring movies.

This isn’t one of them.
