A really well done movie. From what I remember of the book not much correlation other than major plot points and bones of the story. The meat and the fleshing out of the story is much different.
It is a tale of of love and pain. Cuaron puts it in a almost mystical and mysterious realm and the film feels like that for its entirety. Good film just not amazing or groundbreaking or a "gotta see" film.
