Of course the book is better! Isn't the book always better than the film version? If I was critique the film for itself, I highly liked the modern vision of it; the cast had great chemistry and some favorite actors of mine (C.
Cooper, A. Bancroft, E. Hawke, and Paltrow). Also, the soundtrack (Mono) was beautifully interwoven with the artwork.
