I'm sure this was nothing short of astounding in IMAX but on the small screen there's nothing remarkable. Sure Sandra Bullock is great but who doesn't like Sandra Bullock in anything she does? Clooney's character is ridiculous, he's like a lounge singer in outer space making casual conversation while under insane amounts of pressure and floating off into the void.
Visually impressive to say the least, but not enough substance to match it.
