Review of Graves End (2005) by Brian W — 22 May 2017
Graves End is a terrific thriller that sets the bar quite high for this type of movie. The standard-issue moral dilemmas are handled in good form, without the stifling seriousness and heavy-handedness which sometimes let down these kinds of films.
We care about the dilemmas not necessarily due to their nature but because Tarkington Alexander Graves, FBI Agent Rickman and Sheriff Hooper are such convincing characters. Top marks to all for such a fine film.
