A story about young pride being put to the test in a war torn country. With the raised stakes and stress that are placed on the people, the food, the shelters, and the economy, the film's beautiful symbolisms and imagery conclude with heartbreaking results.
A commendable achievement, "Grave of the Fireflies" is a heavy reminder for us all to contemplate and understand which actions are right and which actions are wrong.
