One thing I'll never understand about found footage movies is why when the shit is about to hit the fan, the character seems more interested in turning on their video camera and seeing what it is instead of, well, running for their fucking lives.
"Let's videotape this bear about to eat us!" Then again, look at the box office figures, right? Consider the fact that Paranormal Activity 4 predictably raked in lots of box office dollars and a fifth is already n production.
Despite being more independent than PA4, GE2 has that same mistake being made, although thankfully the rest of the film does measure up. It's better than the first and has much more interesting characters; admittedly it gets ridiculous as it nears its end but it is Watchable at least and you won't be bored.
