I do have to say this is an interesting approach to a sequel in that it's not just a remake of the first film with a different cast. Unfortunately, the premise doesn't really work. It takes far too long to go anywhere, and once it does, you've stopped caring because the first half is so boring.
The first movie was entertaining in a really corny kind of way, but this one is mostly just bad.
