Review of Grandma's Boy (2006) by Jesse T — 22 Oct 2009
Though it has it's original comedic moments, the film devolves into a series of bizarre and awkward vignettes that quickly get tiring. Simply putting a bunch of older, classic actresses in situations where they have to smoke pot, get drunk, and have sex is not comedy in my book.
It's sad the movie took that route because the video game element of the movie and the culture it sculpts was well done and deserving of it's own, separate film.
