Review of Grandma's Boy (2006) by Ryan V — 18 Apr 2012
A 35-year old video game tester (Allen Covert) still lives with his grandma (Doris Roberts) and refuses to grow up. Change must occur, however, when an awkward maverick (Joel David Moore) attempts to take over the company and steal the hero's love interest (Linda Cardellini).
This movie was produced by the same people who made all those terrible Adam Sandler and Rob Sneider comedies that have been littering cineplexes since the early 90's. With that in mind, nobody should be surprised that this is a lowbrow and painfully unfunny slice of prepackaged "comedy" product.
