The American comedy, Grandma's Boy, was directed by Adam Sandler and came out in 2006. It follows the life of Alex, (Allen Covert), who is a 35-year-old, single, video game tester. He finds himself with nowhere to live after his roommate spent all their rent money on hookers.

Alex tries to stay with a few friends but ends up having to crash with his grandma and her two hilarious friends. Grandma, (Doris Roberts), is loving and witty. Her friend Bea, (Shirley Knight), is becoming senile, and Grace, (Shirley Jones), is sexually experienced and spunky.

In addition to Alex working on his own video game (Demonic), he finds himself worn out from all the chores grandma has him do around the house. He tells everyone at work that he has been staying with three chicks and it is they who have been keeping him up all night, which his young, nerdy coworkers find fascinating.

While at work Alex meets and becomes infatuated with a very attractive Samantha, (Linda Cardellini), who is Brainasium's new executive producer sent from corporate to oversee the last stages of production on the new video game.

Alex, however, has some strange competition from Brainasium's so called genius JP (Joel Moore), who also has a crush on Samantha, but is constantly shot down due to his lack of touch with reality.

Overall Grandma's Boy is a witty and charming comedy. There are many scenes in which the audience will find this movie to be captivatingly funny. The humor is a little strange at some points, but if you like strange humor, then it is perfect for you.

There are also a lot of stoners in the movie, but you don't have to be a stoner to enjoy the movie!
