Review of Grandma (2015) by Derek M — 10 Dec 2015

Don't worry, it's not just proud of itself for being "the lesbian grandma dramedy." In its own quiet way, "Grandma" is actually one of the saddest and most poignant releases in a long while.

Thanks to Tomlin's performance, which is beautifully complex and absolutely Oscar-worthy, the film burrows its way under your skin and stays there. It's funny, too.
