Review of Grand Prix (1966) by Dan E — 07 Sep 2007
There is no way this movie could be done in today's world. It is hard to imagine Schumacher or Lewis Hamilton being allowed to act in a film or to have camera's straped onto F1 cars at Monaco. The racing is so good you can forgive the plot and the love story.
Funny thing I was watching "Arrested Developement" and realized that Jessica Walter (the mom on AD) stars as the love interest here. Watch this in surrond sound on the biggest TV you can find, crank up the base and inhale Castrol oil to complete the experience.
