Review of Grand Prix (1966) by Brad V — 22 Apr 2008
The race sequences are for me quite literally the most exhilarating in cinema's history. They should be, considering much of the footage is from actual Formula One races of the mid-60s, a period when driving, not money was the motivation, and racers consistently risked their lives in high-speed death traps.
The ancillary story isn't too bad either.
