Review of Grand Hotel (1932) by Benjamin W — 01 Oct 2010
This movie was best summed up by the doctor at the end of the film, "People come and go, but nothing really happens." Now that's not entirely true, but when you've got so many different story-lines running at once, it's difficult to really go any deeper into something meaningful.
I was also a little distracted with the continuity errors that some of the editing created. Obviously this film was made when Hollywood was still figuring this stuff out.
