Review of Grand Canyon (1991) by Tim B — 05 Jul 2008
This movie, for me, is the bookend film to "The Big Chill". It slaps us in the face with the importance of connecting to the people around us in our everyday world, where we all tend to be a little self-absorbed.
Basically, "We're amoebas, on fleas, on lice." and we can make a difference in our own world- one person at a time. It's the "Crash" of the 90's and had something to say at the time it was released.
