Not a bad movie but a memorable one. Clint Eastwood plays a memorable character Walt Kowalski who is old school, brash, judge mental, but caring. Eastwood makes a good movie where the commentary shows all side of the issues.
Gran Torino has many Soprano style sub stories about how selfish family is, peoples own character flaw etc. What I obtained from Gran Torino's story is we all have flaws, but we can only judge a persons character by his or hers actions The viewer learns understands who's Kowalki's true friend is when we see who Kowalski gives his Gran Torino to at the end of the movie.
