If it weren't for the music of Prince, The Time, George Clinton, and Mavis Staples, this movie would get a zero. Ridiculous premise, terrible acting, uninteresting script. Add to this the fact that it's hard to take a man seriously when he looks like Jennifer Beals in Flashdance with that loose neck shirt exposing one shoulder.
I think Prince is a musical genius, and I think he should stick to just writing music.
