Review of Gracie (2007) by Rachel S — 12 Sep 2007
Gracie is the real life story of Elizabeth Shue, famous for her roles in the Karate Kid and Adventures in Babysitting, she was a soccer star before hitting Hollyweird. Her brother, who was also in Melrose Place, helped produce this movie with her and both have supporting roles alongside star Carly Shroeder as the lone daughter of a soccer coachesque dad, played by the unlikeable Dermot Mulroney.
With all her brothers playing soccer she has a hard time getting time to participate in her passion but after a family tragedy she has a new goal. It's a family film for sure but for those who like the football and the family it's a perfect watch together.
