This is one of those very simple touching family dramas, that speak volumes in silences... When a man is notified that his soldier wife fighting in iraq is dead, he has to tell their two little girls..

. Unable to gather enough caourage to break the news, he rather takes them on a road trip to an amusement park far away to Florida, running away from the reality... John Cusack gives one of his career best performance here.

.. He underplays the character to perfection, and just 2 seconds into the film and u don't see Cusack again - but his character Stanley Phillips... The 2 daughters are very cute, and the elder one especially is an amazing actor.

.. Debutant director James. C. Strouse has executed one of the most beautiful sentimental film we've seen in recent times... The emotional scenes are not cliche anywhere, and one can feel the emotional intensity of every scene even when Cusack doesn't let that out on his kids.

.. Watch this one for its simplicity in story telling, and John Cusack - in a "never seen before" performance!! Recommended!
