Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Jordan A — 26 Jun 2008
A film that was mainly made to showcase what Cusack as a actor is. He puts on a emotionally draining, powerful performance that brings out the human side in him, yet you find him tormented. The film itself is a mixed mess.
It doesn't know what it is saying. Is it a anti war film or is it just a film about loss, family, and recovery? It's more of a film that makes mourn the loss of our blood, and our family, and how we cope with it.
Just one beautiful film overall.
