Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Peter P — 30 Apr 2010
Very well done movie that takes a look at death and family and how they all mesh together as a father takes his daughters on a road trip to try and tell them that their mother has died in combat. It is sad and touching in many parts and you really feel for the family in their grief and as the dad admits to his dead wife on the family answering machine that he has no clue what to do next.
Not a movie for everyone, but a very good look at grief in middle america and about a father becoming the dad he was ment to be.
