Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Barbara S — 06 Jun 2010
A wonderful film to me. it seemed so real.
The actors weren't beautiful, and neither was the situation.
Cusack's character was rounded enough, and really no more was needed. it was about their journey.
Maybe without such an incredible leading actor this would not have carried as well, but instead it skims across the "weepie" line, daring to sink into that genre, but keeping the story so heartwarming you can't help but smile more than you cry.
