Review of Grace Is Gone (2007) by Rachel O — 31 May 2008
As a military wife with a husband who is deployed, I found this story to be extremely hard to watch but it is a story that needs to be told. Overall, it was very slow moving, but that may have been on purpose to clearly allow the viewer to feel the amount of time that is dragging on before Cusack delivers the news of his wife's death to his daughters.
Not the best movie I have ever seen, but certainly not the worst either.
