Review of Grabbers (2012) by Frank V — 18 Apr 2014
Polished, funny, but unfortunately not scary in the least, Jon Wright's Grabbers is enjoyable despite being drowned in cliches and sub par to passable acting. It's about a small Irish town that must get absurdly drunk to make themselves immune to an murderous alien.
It's main strength is it's writing and premise which make for some likable, fun drunken characters despite a VERY predictable plot. 3/5.
