Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Ruhaini I — 22 Dec 2007
Natalie Portman indeed got naked...sadly, it was in a torture scene, but it was still GLORIOUS! The movie itself, though, is pretty phenomenal as well. Javier Bardem is really proving himself as one of the best actors out there.
The story is really compelling and keeps you engaged. It's a very cruel movie, but a really strong piece of historical fiction, beautifully designed with huge lavish sets and costumes. Milos Forman rarely goes wrong and he scores with this one.
