Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Arik B — 16 Mar 2008
When I saw this movie, I was absolutely speechless by the time it ended. It has a very accurate historical touch to it. The acting was great, and Javier Bardem is absolutely spectacular. Natalie Portman is probably my favorite actress, so this was a movie I really enjoyed.
The cinematography was excellent and the story was very moving. The only upset was that the storyline itself was not very defined, even to the point where I was actually lost at the end about what exactly the movie was supposed to be about.
But taking that aside, this was an excellent film and is worth seeing for everyone.
