Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Sam T — 20 Mar 2008
The movie began well, but got lost trying to portray multiple stories, when it should have focused on the main character, Goya. It left the viewer with three rather incomplete stories and although the performances were very well executed, over all I felt the story was unfinished because it lacked the in depth exploration of the main character and was not portrayed from his perspective.
In fact the main character pales in comparison to the two very strong characters of javier bardem and natalie portman.
