Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Ieda M — 26 Dec 2008
There's some good parts in this film, especially Portman's acting of the duel roles. However, the narrative was kind of messy. Goya didn't make much of an interesting lead character. I think it should have been based more around Ines.
Javier acted well also, but for some reason the narrative was definitely lacking something. That last shot with Ines holding Lorenzo's hand was classic. Man, Portman is great.
