Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Morris N — 01 Jan 2009
Goya was a painter in an eventful time in the history of Spain. The film shows the lives of some of his subjects. One of his models who gets caught up in the inquisition, the other a clergy who leads the inquisition.
The characters are acted well, the story is less good on the why people do what they do. Don't expect it to be a biography of Goya. Still a very good watch.
