Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Mariana A — 11 Mar 2010
On the interesting side as far as period pieces go. Both costume and set design were rather well done, and the story line, while periodically confusing to follow, was rather intriguing -- particularly if, as the synopsis claims, it truly is based on fact.
I do feel that if the "true story" allegation weren't a factor, this film would be not have held my attention as actively, but I was relatively entertained.
