Review of Goya's Ghosts (2006) by Doctor S — 20 May 2010
Like many of Goya's work this film is a portrait of a troubled society during very hard times. The absurdity of the Spanish Inquisition, the crimes towards humanity and the struggle for survival dominate in the film.
I still remember the last scene with the cart and it will remain inside of me forever. Strong film.
