Well, this wasn't HIDEOUS, but it was just . . . soooo . . . random, as if someone had cut up individual scenes, thrown them into a bag, and then stitched them all back together in an inscrutable sequence.
When Travolta/Gotti appeared on camera for his short opening monologue, I had the same sinking this-is-going-to-be-bad feeling about the movie that I did when Anthony Hopkins did the same at the beginning of "Alexander.".
