Review of Gothika (2003) by Yulinda Septiani M — 05 Apr 2009
Gothika is a stylish, creepy, and well-acted psychological thriller/ghost story. It also has plot holes big enough to drive a truck through, making this one of those movies where you have to check your brain at the door.
If you're willing to do so, then you'll have a genuinly scary good time. It isn't in the same league as "The Others" or "The Sixth Sense," but taken on its own it provides enough chills to be entertaining.
Just don't ask any questions.
