Review of Gothika (2003) by Alejandra P — 23 May 2009
Miranda (Halle Berry) is a metal institution psychiatrist, who after almost running down a young woman in the middle of the street finds herself in one of the cells of the nut house that she worked at with no recollection of how she got there and her husband dead. Wow, that was bad. Of course, it's a Dark Castle production so I really didn't expect much at all, but to constant insult the intellegence of the audience with such over-acting and an insanely stupid plot hole filled story like that. I'm really at a loss for words.
My Grade: D.
DVD Extras: Commentary; Limp Bizkit's butchering of the classic Behind Blue Eyes; and theatrical trailer.
Eye Candy: Andrea Sheldon goes topless, Halle Berry has a body double (BOOO!!!), also a few extras show various body parts.
