Not the best film out there, but still pretty good. First off, it was mismarketed as a horror film - it's really a mystery/suspense film. Still, the directing and the ensemble cast helped pull off a mediocre script.

The film essentially chronicles Dr. Miranda Grey (Halle Berry, in a performance that starts of very shaky but gets better as it goes), a psychiatrist who one day wakes up to find herself in the asylum that she treats patients for. Through a her doctor friend Dr. Pete Graham (Robert Downey, Jr., giving, as is customary for him, the best performance in the film), she learns that she apparently killed her husband (Charles S. Dutton). Somewhat helping her in her ordeal are Pete and Chloe (Penelope Cruz, in a performance that is way better than the performance that won her an Academy Award).

Liek I said, it's okay. Entertaining at best, but nothing special. Good performances.

Somewhat recommended... good for a "night-in" type of deal.
