Review of Gothika (2003) by Roy C — 01 Jan 2010

(I've since watched this movie multiple times and now I really like it and have adjusted the rating accordingly. The following review applies to only the first time I watched it.).

I've wanted to see this for so long, but it was a letdown. Never mind that I apparently wasn't in the mood for a scary movie, it just didn't have the best plot. I think the end was supposed to be a plot twist, but it didn't work. So it ends up being just ok. Halle Berry is certainly a better actress than most people in horror movies, so I have to give it credit for that.
