Review of Gothika (2003) by Kenneth L — 20 May 2011
I caught more than just whiff of Halle Barries' doubly-binding clostraphobia of all reality except that dictated by the head psych being symptomatic psychosis in need of an even thicker cloud of drool & shuffle inducing med compliance.
And, of course, it would be very difficult to except paranormal messages from the dead as other than hallucination in that situation. I think it did give argument to shoring an extra measure of patient rights protection & humane treatment of prisoners guarantees that never seems to be enough & is constantly slipping back into the dark ages.
All power over people is itself a corruption already & draws the merciless like flies to fresh kill those put at their mercy.
