Gothika was a very well crafted film. It has the dark, eerie atmosphere that makes you feel timid the whole time. The movie was shot brilliantly and every camera angle seems to be significant in its own mysterious way.
The dark corridors of the hospital are really creepy. The way things are filmed keep you on the edge of your seat with suspense. Just the atmosphere alone is really dark. It seems like something will jump out at you at any given moment! Sometimes it is just too damn quiet! Halle Berry did a great job as well as Charles S.
Dutton and Robert Downey Jr. Overall Gothika was a memorable, eerie psychological thriller with plenty of twists and a good plot that will keep you guessing. check it out. 4-starz.
