Imagine yourself playing a game of Clue while heavily sedated in a nursing home somewhere in Basingstoke or Crowborough. That's Gosford Park. QUITE!
Frankly the problem here is that there are just too many characters. By the time we've established them all, and trudged through the social rigidities, there's very little time to watch a mystery unravel...and when it does, it doesn't really matter.
