Review of Gosford Park (2001) by Darryl S — 07 Dec 2012

I really thought that I would love this, but that didn't end up happening. Let me start by saying that I'm a fan of many of these brilliant actors and of Julian Fellowes, but all that considered, I just didn't love this movie. It's quite long and there are a lot of characters - too many, in my opinion. I struggled to keep track of who was who and how they were related etc. The mystery was pretty good though. Lots of little clues and things, red herrings, and an ending that I didn't predict. But still, for some reason, I just wasn't overly captivated by it.

What did this movie teach me? Maggie Smith is the same person in just about everything and that's awesome.
