This is an ensemble to die for! Each actor creates a unique and memorable character - Helen Mirren and the hysterical Maggie Smith give stand-out performances. I adore the complexity of the plot because detail is something that I always enjoy in a film.
Altman's direction is superb, I love how he allows his characters to float about and the camera to simply observe the action. This movie makes me feel rapturous.
