My favorite film since the year 2000 - brilliant script, brilliant acting, brilliant everything. Helen Mirren and Eileen Atkisn - ah! I highly recommend watching this film on DVD with English subtitles - you'll catch all the lines that are tossed away so casually.
And definitely watch it with writer Julian Fellowes' audio-commentary. Another reason I love this film is that it led me (at last) to the magnificent TV series UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS, all 65 episodes of it!
