Review of Gosford Park (2001) by Tess . — 10 Jan 2009
A glimpse into how the English upper class (& their servants) live. Initially I could barely understand what the actors were saying- thank goodness for close-captioning!
It wasn't hard to figure out whodunnit, by paying attention to the not-so-subtle clues about one character's background.
The Countess was my fave character. Her antics were very amusing.
On the whole, not a bad movie (but there are far better murder mysteries on TVO!).
