Review of Gorillas in the Mist (1988) by Asif K — 24 Aug 2010
Good, well balanced biopic, one of Sigourney Weaver's best performances! Very touching movie... Def. a classic. I wish I had seen this sooner! Sigourney Weaver really did a good job as Dian Fossey, and I love the way the tragic aspects of this was handled.
This coupled with the beautiful photography makes a film worth watching. Important movie, upsetting, sad, reminding that such inhuman crimes continue while animals have little or no protection. Beautiful cinematography.
Sigourney Weaver revealed as an outstanding, gifted actress. Heartbreaking... a must-see.
