Review of Gorillas in the Mist (1988) by Edgar C — 03 Jan 2011
Shockingly good. Real-life stories are always more powerful and meaningul than those invented by man's creativity. Apted's early catchy scope captures the landscapes of a forgotten world in which savagery plays a very important role as an inert character. Weaver is quite amazing, to be honest. Tragic and moving, reality is portrayed in a very honest manner and just for that, I applaud its bravery. In the end, you'll ask yourself: Who's the real savage?
81/100.
