Review of Goosebumps (2015) by Tatsuhito K — 04 Jul 2016
A smart, funny, gleefully dark, and enormously entertaining fantasy-horror-comedy flick for young kids and adults. It is spooky and freaky, but never goes to a point that's too scary and frightening for younger audiences (which is a really good thing).
With the witty and weirdly self-aware script, the amusing characters (played by very likable actors), and more than a dozen of above-average visual effects, Goosebumps delivers just enough amount of scare and laugh.
I had a lot of fun with this film.
