Review of Goosebumps (2015) by Duncan P — 14 Nov 2015
Just as ridiculous as it needs to be to capture the tone of the books, and packed with enough Easter eggs that anyone familiar with the books will catch, it's a total hoot to watch, and consistently funny.
While I'm sure the kids will probably like it if they're fans of the books, I'd argue that the best parts of it are when it is fully meta and self-aware, poking fun at itself and the books - something I suspect that the adults who grew up reading them would be able to appreciate more.
