Genuinely an enjoyable movie, great for kids and adults alike. It's very cool flashing back to our childhood and seeing the creatures from the brilliant novels coming to life. The characters are fun, the monsters entertaining and there's just enough terror to scare but not overly frighten kids.
Watch out for the Stein cameo, was a great touch.
