I am not a big fan of Jack Black, and the fact that it was a movie for not grown up, my curiosity was mainly due to my being a reader of some of the books in my childhood. But Goosebumps is a good movie for the genre, that do makes you laugh and think back to when you maybe read a book or two as a little boy.
